I won for my work several (oeuvre) awards.
In 2016, I was the winner of the Grote Maaskant Award, a biennial prize for a person that stimulates the debate on architecture, landscape and urban design by publications, teaching or commissioning. For this special occasion I developed the multimedia project ‘Tracy in Nederland‘ (Tracy in the Netherlands) and I wrote the essay ‘Vlucht naar Voren‘ (A Flight Forward). In 2012, I won the Groeneveldaward for my contribution to the debate on nature and landscape in the Netherlands. I wrote an essay ‘The value of nature’ about how our thinking about nature has changed between wild, undisturbed nature and nature that should mostly be of service to us.
