Interview voor Amsterdam & Co

Via een cursus Engels die ik gaf, ontmoette ik de redactiechef van het Parool. Hij zei: “De journalistiek, dat is echt iets voor jou”, en hij stelde me voor aan de hoofdredacteur. Die moet echt hebben gedacht: “Wie is deze gekke Amerikaanse zonder journalistieke ervaring”, maar ik kreeg een contract.

Onder de naam ‘Er is geen betere opleiding in het leven dan de journalistiek‘, verscheen er 10 februari 2016 een interview door Suzette Hermsen met mij op Amsterdam & Co. In het interview vertel ik over mijn carrière, over de veranderingen die ik in Amsterdam zou willen aanbrengen en over mijn favoriete plekje in de stad.
