Ter gelegenheid van de launch van het interuniversitaire Center for Public Imagination worden deelnemers uitgenodigd in interactieve workshops te reflecteren op de verbeelding van de slimme stad. Welk vocabulaire, welke beelden, en welke verlangens animeren de slimme stad? Wat doet de taal van technologische efficiency en optimalisering met de manier waarop de stad als politieke ruimte functioneert? De slimme stad vormt zo een casus voor een bredere noodzaak tot hernieuwde verbeelding van het publieke. De workshops in de middag zijn voor iedereen toegankelijk.

Ik zal op de ochtend van 17 juni bij de launch van het Center for Public Imagination het gesprek in goede banen leiden.

Prijs: Gratis, mits in het bezit van een geldig toegangsbewijs voor de tentoonstelling.

On the occasion of the launch of the Center for Public imagination participants were invited to join interactive workshops to reflect on the imagination of the smart city.

On the morning of June 17th I will preside the launch of the Center for Public Imagination.
