John Adams: Margo Foner on immigration in the US

In collaboration with the Amsterdam Public Library and the Netherlands Institute of Advanced Studies, the John Adams is hosting the American sociologist Nancy Foner, professor at CUNY and author of  ‘One Quarter of the Nation: Immigration and the Transformation of America’. 

The evening will be opened by Shefali Razdan Duggal, United States Ambassador to the Netherlands. Ambassador Razdan Duggal will address the audience speaking from personal experience of  immigration: at a young age, she moved from India to the U.S.
