On April 2nd, at 12u30 East Coast time and 18u30 Amsterdam time, I am moderating an event with the title ‘Beyond Inclusion: The Role of the Built Environment in Advancing Equity’. this is one of a series of events celebrating the 50th year of the Loeb Fellowship for mid-career professionals at the Harvard Graduate School of Deisng.

Speakers are Loeb Fellow ’16 Kimberly Driggins, joining from Washington DC, and Shaney Pena-Gómez (LF ’18) from the Dominican Republic. They will reflect on where we are as a profession and whether we are approaching diversity in a manner that will address the transformation necessary for the profession to reflect the complexity and diversity of the communities it’s meant to serve. This discussion will delve into their experiences as professionals in a predominantly male profession and explore what true transformation and equity in the built environment look like.

The event is open to all, register here: https://harvard.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_CCbXXIeRQdqKbsQEemJOaQ
