In the Netherlands the art of water managment was born of pure necessity, and the attitude has always been that long-term prevention is better than repair after the fact. But currently the climate is changing and the Dutch are discovering that working together with nature is a safer bet in the long run. My most recent book ‘Sweet&Salt’ about this trending topic will be discussed on October 19th at 6.30 PM in the Garden Centre, New York. During this event  I will speak about the innovative approach the Netherlands are now taking to dealing with water.
