Van maandag 4 april t/m donderdag 7 april is het jaarlijks terugkerende evenement: Writers for Europe. 

Voordat de studenten elkaar ontmoeten in Amsterdam zullen ze elk een filmproject voorbereiden, gebaseerd op het thema ‘On the Waterfront’. Dit thema is gekozen omdat alle participerende filmscholen, Berlijn, Praag, Beaconsfield en Amsterdam, een rivier door hun stad hebben stromen. 

Het doel van de bijeenkomst in Amsterdam is het delen van ideeën en creatieve connecties leggen op internationaal niveau. Aan het einde van de vier dagen kiezen de leraren vier filmprojecten uit en deze zullen onder internationale supervisie worden ontwikkeld. 

Ik zal op de ochtend van 6 april een presentatie houden in het EYE Film Museum.

From Monday April 4th – Thursday April 7th the annual event ‘Writers for Europe’ will take place in Amsterdam

Before the students meet in Amsterdam, they will each prepare a film plan based on the theme ‘On the Waterfront’. This theme originates from the fact that all participating film schools, Berlin, Prague, Beaconsfield and Amsterdam, have a river run through their city. 

The main purpose of the meeting in Amsterdam will be the sharing of ideas and connecting creatively on an international level. At the end of the four days, the teachers will choose four film plans, that will be developed under international supervision. 

On the morning of April 6th I will give a presentation in the EYE Film Museum.
